The Balance chair combines task chair functionality with the comfort of an armchair. Developed with a keen awareness of ergonomics and user diversity, the self-adjusting mechanism creates a dynamic and interactive experience, automatically adjusting to the weight and movements of each individual user. This is a chair for everyone.
A soft, wraparound back envelops the user and makes the Balance chair perfect for today’s blended working environments, creating a soft and welcoming aesthetic that is ideal for collaborative environments that demand dynamic responsiveness as well as being ergonomically designed for long periods of concentration. The Balance chair has been designed and manufactured to comply with BS EN1335-1:2020.
Fully height adjustable with a gas lift mechanism on a five-star castor base, the Balance chair has a weight adjusted tilt mechanism which can be locked in 3 positions using intuitive controls.
Available with or without arm pads, the Balance chair has been developed with a removable cover that negates the need for glue, avoiding the creation of waste and pollution. As the outer cover becomes worn, rather than replacing the whole chair it can be easily and resourcefully refurbished with a new cover, keeping it in use over multiple lifecycles.
