Sotherby’s Contemporary
Decorative Arts Exhibition

Following 100% design and the launch of Simon Pengelly’s META shelving system, the system was shortlisted for the ‘Blueprint Awards’ and for the ‘Corus/Blueprint Design Inspiration Awards’ contributing to Simon being awarded ‘Best Contributor’ to the 2002 show. The shelving was selected for Sotherby’s Contemporary Decorative Arts Exhibition.

Produced from folded sheet metal and powder coated in a fine sandpaper finish in a range of colours, the system comes in three different heights. Bays of shelving can be added as far as you like to achieve the desired length of shelving. The system can be used freestanding, with anodised aluminium legs, or wall mounted. The shelving is incredibly easy to assemble with no fixings required, the shelves simply click together.
