Modus worked alongside Benjamin West and the main contractor ISG to deliver a staggering 1254 bedrooms of furniture for the high profile Nido student accommodation. The 33 storey building, owned by the Blackstone group and designed by TP Bennett, is the tallest student accommodation building in the world.
Modus, who won the rigorous tender despite competition from 16 other manufacturers, delivered the 1254 bedrooms of furniture on time – the total project involved on time deliveries of over 25 articulated lorries of furniture with an outstanding record of only one damaged item of furniture for the entire project. The furniture comprised of a wenge finish MFC on bright polished chrome frames and included wardrobes, beds, bedside units and desks.
Wrap chairs by Simon Pengelly were selected by TP Bennett to adorn the atrium of this impressive building.
