Modus is delighted to be involved in an exhibition by Turner Prize-winning artist Martin Creed at Sketch. This is the first in a new programme, which will transform the legendary London restaurant into a conceptual artwork as well as a place to dine and host live events.
To celebrate the London Design Festival, we will be presenting a unique installation in our showroom in Clerkenwell entitled: Process – an exhibition of chairs showing step by step production methods from traditional to modern techniques, explained through drawings, images, prototypes and models.
At London’s new design destination, designjunction, we will be presenting work from our latest collection previewed in Milan, alongside the launch of a new sofa by French designer Christophe Pillet.
The Wright Brothers, acclaimed for their seafood and oysters, will be recreating the atmosphere and experience of their London restaurants at designjunction, serving the freshest fish from a spectacular pop-up bar by Modus.

The Noughts and Crosses stools are available in two different heights for either bar or dining table use. The three or four legged oak stools have a steel powder coat O or X serving as a foot rest and can be made in a variety of colours.
Located in Camden, London, the grade II former railway turntable engine shed (or Roundhouse) built in 1847 is today one of Londons greatest music venue. The Roundhouse has hosted the BBC Electric Proms, and also ceremonies such as the BT Digital Music Awards
Ten by Michael Sodeau
Ten is a universal sofa range by Michael Sodeau launched in Milan. The clean silhouette is a contrast between the thin tailored outer frame and soft cushions inside. Its oversized seat depth and generous back make it an extremely comfortable sofa.
Hotel Martinhal bedroom
Our projects team recently completed the hotel bedrooms at Hotel Martinhal in Portugal. All the rooms were designed by Michael Sodeau and all furniture was produced and installed by Modus.
