Modus is delighted to be involved in an exhibition by Turner Prize-winning artist Martin Creed at Sketch. This is the first in a new programme, which will transform the legendary London restaurant into a conceptual artwork as well as a place to dine and host live events.
This year we enjoyed great success at the first UK designjunction exhibition in Holborn. Modus collaborated with The Wright Brothers to bring to life designjunction’s very own pop-up champagne and oyster bar.

Berlin is one of the most exciting European design cities right now, so it's no surprise that a new exhibition has sprung up for autumn 2011. The inaugural Qubique show takes place between 26-29 October at the decommissioned Tempelhof Airport and Modus will be right there in the thick of proceedings with its latest product launches presented by our agent; Now is Here, alongside a superb selection of UK and overseas brands. There's high hopes for this new trade show, which aims to attract design fans from all over the world. We'll see you there!
PechaKucha night returned to London for the festival under the new guardianship of Modus. This captivating presentation concept took place at designjunction and will be the first of many across the capital.
Last month we celebrated the London Design Festival with a striking installation at our showroom in Clerkenwell. Entitled 'Process' the exhibition laid bare our furniture making story, from the drawing board to the finished display models.

The PechaKucha night phenomenon began in Tokyo in 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network and share their ideas. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", this simple and effective format requires the speaker to show 20 images, each for 20 seconds.
To celebrate the London Design Festival, we will be presenting a unique installation in our showroom in Clerkenwell entitled: Process – an exhibition of chairs showing step by step production methods from traditional to modern techniques, explained through drawings, images, prototypes and models.
