Established in 2000, Modus was, and still is, one of very few British contemporary furniture manufacturers.
Initially working with a select group of British designers to produce a range of products aimed at the domestic market, Modus gradually began to expand its product ranges to include pieces aimed at the contract market.
Working with an increasing number of acclaimed British designers and bringing on board the talents of some of Britain’s finest young designers, Modus continued to diversify, working with an ever wider spectrum of materials and processes, always sourcing the very best in terms of design and manufacturing.
Having established a vast network of specialist manufacturers and an extensive knowledge of production and material techniques and processes Modus continued to expand the scope of its ranges, producing innovative, award-winning, high quality pieces.
Today we work with a wide range of both celebrated international and British designers, it is this ongoing collaboration and our flexibility in terms of production techniques that enables us to deliver such a wide spectrum of projects.
